Two issues with the new version

First issue: The timer lets my phone fall asleep. I have to wake up my phone from the lock screen. Very annoying.
Second issue: You cannot adjust the sound volume until the "clucking" finished sound is actually playing. Not terribly useful! On the old version, I could turn up the volume after I set the timer so that I could hear it when it was done. Now when I try to change volume before the timer is finished, the volume buttons only change my ringer volume.
